As a passionate photographer, I have a first hand experience of the patience and determination required to make that marvelous photo shot that you have in mind. But what I am sharing with you, exceeds anything! We are bombared by special effects on films, but this is true life so capturing it requires a lot more!
It’s a magnificent video (and its “making-of”) from part of the series “LIFE” that BBC hosts, showing how photographers capture life, as depicted in the growth of plants.
Some of the time-lapse photos are actually made in-studio, over the course of many-many days so as to control light. The most astonishing time-lapse was created over the course of two years for 60 seconds of film!
You will enjoy the amazing photographic result, but the setup and the processes documented are equally fascinating. To be truthful, I’ve never seen anything like this, so I thought you’d all enjoy it as much as I did.

Yannis, thank you very much for sharing this great BBC video with us. I love photography!!!!

That was incredibly awesome!! shows if you can have patience in a project you love it will be fruitful.
I agreed with that Jeanmarie. It’s not about money, or fame etc. As you say, it’s about the passion!
If you are passionate about something, everything else follows!
